Our commitment to quality

In participating in the AF FRAMES project, the Alliance Francaise de San Diego clearly states its commitment to pedagogical excellence.

Courses focus on communication and are taught by trained, professional French instructors using teaching materials designed by Alliance Francaise de Paris.

Alliance teachers are uniquely qualified in that they are typically native-fluent and specialize in FLE - teaching French as a foreign language. Meet our teachers.

We keep our class sizes small -- max of 10 -- so that participants get plenty of interaction and individual attention. All our classes are conversational oriented.

We offer a variety of workshops for all levels (max of 25 participants).

Language classes at the Alliance cover 3 levels:
Basic, Independant and Proficient Users.
Basic User
Level A1: Class 101 and 102
Level A2: Class 103, 104 and 201
Independent User
Level B1: class 202, 203, 204, 301, 302 and Intermediate Conversation.
Level B2: class 303, 304, 305, 401 Intermediate Advanced Grammar, Intermediate Advanced Conversation.
Proficient User
Level C1: Advanced Conversation and Grammar.

Each class is taught for one session (a total of 20 to 25). Reinforcing classes are also offered. It then takes five to eight sessions to cover each level and to progress.

Another French Revolution: our 50% plan for our returning students.
