Alliance Soccer Club

Every Wednesday from 12pm to 1pm, bring your lunch at Alliance Francaise de San Diego and watch Foot! This TV5 Monde program, presented by Didier Roustan and France Pierron, recounts the Ligue 1 Orange games of the week. Results, goals and league table are shown and discussed. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your passion for soccer.

Book Club with Harry:

Our morning book-club is hosted, once a month, by Harry. (Fridays.from 9:30am to 11:30am)

Book Club with Maurice:

Our evening book-club is hosted, once a month, by Maurice. (Wednesdays, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm)

Hike and Speak French with George:

Once a month, George leads the group along San Diego trails. Participants are invited to bring cheese, fruits or bread to share during the informal picnic that usually follows the hike. All participants are welcome. Trails and meeting points are annonced each month in our Newsletter and Calendar of Events. (Sundays)

Bike club with Didier:

Once a month, this activity suited for all levels, brings its participants to some of the most beautifuls trails in San Diego. This is a great family activity. Trails and meeting points are annonced each month in our Newsletter and Calendar of Events. (Sundays)

Meetup with Elizabeth: "Parlez-vous Francais?"

Elizabeth is the Alliance Francaise Ambassador and she welcomes, once a month, anyone who would like to speak French. You may bring a book or an article to share. (Wednesday Evenings)

Meetup with Deborah: "Entre-nous"

Deborah shares a different topic each week with her guests. List of topics and articles are available each week upon request. (Friday Mornings from 10:00am to 12:00noon)

Storytelling Time with Marie:

Twice a month, for the little ones, a one hour reading program in French. Children must be accompaned by a parent at all times. ( Wednesdays from 10:30am to 11:30am)

Storytelling Time with Sylvie:

Once a month, for children, a one hour reading program in French. Children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. (Mondays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm)

Teen Lounge:

Once a month, different activities are offered to our teens. This is an excellent opportunity for the French speaking teens to meet and have fun "dans la langue de Moliere". (dates and times are annonced every month on our Newsletter and Calendar of Events).

Au Musee avec Susanna:

Our resident Art Expert, Susanna, is offering private guided tours of some of San Diego most fascinating art exhibits. (time and dates are annonced in our Newsletter and Calendar of Events)

Cine-Club at Alliance:

Once a month, our movie expert, David, is welcoming our audience at Alliance for the latest in French Cinema. This Club also participates in Movie Festivals, Meetups with the "Arthouse movie meetup group" and of course, our annual "Short Movie Festival: Les Lutins du court-metrage"
