French Ambassador Pierre Vimont inaugurates the Alliance Francaise

The Alliance Francaise of San Diego inaugurated its new location in Sorrento Valley with Special guest Pierre Vimont, the Ambassador of France to the United States.

President Pascale Fougeres, the Board Members and Educational Executive Director Anne-Laure Le Reverend were recognized for their effort to promote the French language and culture in San Diego.
The inauguration took place in the presence of The Honorable David Martinon, Consul General of France in Los Angeles, The Honorable Erik Nowacki, Consul General of Sweden in San Diego, The Honorable Christophe Vauthez, Consul General of Switzerland in Los Angeles, Mrs. Kareen Rispal, Cultural Counselor of France in the United States, Mr. Thierry Lagnau, Delegate General of the Alliance Française in the United States, Mrs. Lisa Gordon, Director of protocol City of San Diego and Mrs. Sheila Jackson, San Diego Unified School District Board President.
