Alliance Francaise de San Diego is proud to partner with San Diego French American School for ART TALK: a series of seasonal lectures followed by conversations and refreshments .
February is Black History Month and we are delighted to present a conference by writer and researcher Nirina Ralantoaritsimba. Combining literature, history and personal reflections on the life of Frederick Douglass, she gives him face and voice with Anthony Hamm (actor). The conference will be in English, with media on screen.

Nirina Ralantoaritsimba is a Franco-Malagasy writer, researcher in travel literature and artist-pedagogue. She has taught in France, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Germany and now leads multi-artistic workshops in schools and cultural centers as well as creative writing seminars at university.
