OPEN HOUSE & BOOK FAIR

From 9:30 am to 2 pm, join us for an enjoyable day of exploring our new space, meeting our team, engaging in activities for all ages, and browsing the book fair hosted by Clotilde French Bookstore.

Program of activities:

9:30 am - 2:00 pm: 

- Book Fair

- Exhibition of drawings by Joseph le Dieu

- Raffle to win gifts such as a Family membership, a cooking class, tickets to the Festival days, and more!

9:30 am - 10:30 am:    Introduction to drawing Doodles and Zentangle with Laurence (all ages)

10:00 am - 11:00 am:  Learn about Owls: Book reading, video & drawing with Alexandra

11:00 am - 12 pm:       Presentation of Culturetheque, the online library of the Institut Français with Elisabeth

11:00 am - 11:30 am:  Sing and Dance with Lily

11:00 am - 1:00 pm:    30 min of French class with Estela (11h– A1, 11h30 – A2, 12h – B1, 12h30 – B2)

11:30 am - 12:30 pm:   Workshop "Scents & Aromas in Cooking" with Lily (youth)

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm:     Book signing with Dr. Jyoti Mishra and kid author Ayan Ramanathan

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm:     Placement tests with Elisabeth

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm:    Face Painting for kids by professional makeup artist Sylvie 

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm:    Cartoons

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm:     Workshop "Test your oral understanding level of French in 10 minutes"  (individual testing sessions) with Layla

1:00 pm -1:15 pm:      Presentation of the exhibition of Joseph le Dieu with Laurence

About Clotilde French Bookstore: Founded by Clotilde Delestre, her bookstore showcases a large and diverse selection of brand-new 

imported French books from all French editors for children and adults.

This event is open and free to all. RSVP is appreciated for preparing the event.

We will do our best to accommodate as many guests as possible.
